Women’s Volleyball League Midway

The team from the City of Havana leads the women’s national volleyball league as the first phase comes to a close on Tuesday, February 2.

Under coach Regla Torres, and with several national team players, the squad from Havana easily won over the Orientales on Monday 3-0.

Occidentales are close behind Havana after beating Este 5-2 and Centrales 3-0.

The second phase of the women’s volleyball league will be played out in Villa Clara while the men’s league begins on Friday in Camaguey.
