Leading representatives of the Central Bank of Cuba, the Institute of Water Resources and the Ministry of Higher Education today provide updated information to parliamentarians on their missions, strategic objectives, work plans in the short, medium and long term, the results of the first half year and key challenges.

This report from the three agencies of the Central Government will be the start of the activities prior to the Ninth Regular Session of the Seventh Legislature of the National Assembly of Popular Power in Cuba engrossed in the process of strengthening institutions and improvement of the state apparatus and in the implementation of the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, and the updating of its economic model.

This Thursday it is also expected that the commissions on local organs of People's Power, and Education, Culture, Science and Technology will be held accountable for their management to all Members, which are meeting in plenary at the Palace of Conventions of Havana.
